About Western Pipe Fabrication

Western Pipe Fabrication Inc. is an Excavation, Welding, and Industrial Services contractor.

Founded in 1976 by two friends, Ray Larsen and Gary Dyches, who met while working together on construction of the Trans-Alaskan Pipeline System, they provided Welding, Piping, and Industrial Services to many refineries in the Salt Lake and Intermountain areas. After successful careers, they were thinking about the future of WPFI and in 1993 found their succession plan. Two brothers, Robert and Scott Maybee, whom they had known and worked around. This was a relief for them as the brothers had similar ideas, values, and work ethics and were eager to continue the commitment to quality they were known for.

Since the beginning, we have been a small company with big solutions. WPFI is known for providing safe working environments, good-paying wages, and fulfilling careers for our employees. We always aim to over-deliver on every project. We are big enough to perform your project on time and according to your specifications, and small enough that we can handle dynamic conditions.

We are committed to safety and ensuring exceptional results for all involved.
